Description
Drum Bunker Dragon, originally named Fang Slade Terrestrial XIV, is the son of the Drum clan chief in Dragon World. Sent to Earth to locate an unconventional Buddyfighter, he partners with Gao Mikado, though their relationship begins conflict-ridden due to Drum's stubborn and reckless nature. He struggles to adapt to the human world and grapples with insecurity over his father's legacy, revealing an inferiority complex during tournaments like the ABC Cup where he doubts his value to Gao's team.

Recognizing Gao as his father's intended Buddy, Drum departs for rigorous training across multiple dimensions. In Dragon World, his father deems him unprepared and sends him away. In Dungeon World, he learns teamwork and leadership by commanding allies like Tasuku and Tetsuya against monsters. These trials unlock new forms: a Dungeon World "Brave" form, a Magic World adaptation enabling "Megablast Bunker," and later a Thunder Knights form featuring a hoverboard Buddy Skill activated during a near-fatal fall.

Drum demonstrates increasing maturity and loyalty, especially during the Gaen Cup finals. After two defeats by Demios Sword Dragon and facing destruction, he entrusts Gao to fight on. He later supports Gao when the world turns against him, surviving assaults like Azi Dahaka's before defeat. While in the Drop Zone, a vision of Gao's future potential reactivates Drum as a more powerful version wielding "Future Force."

In later events, Drum temporarily becomes the Fifth Omni Dragon Lord after Tenbu is consumed by Yamigedo. This role demands intense training to earn the Omni emblem and unite the skeptical Fifth Omni Cavalry Dragons, including overcoming Alliot's resentment regarding his lineage. As an Omni Lord, his appearance shifts to ronin-themed armor with a katana, and he gains new powers to combat threats like Inverse Omni Lords and Yamigedo. Post-battle, he relinquishes the title and returns to Dragon World to succeed his father as clan chief.

His journey showcases abilities tied to card mechanics: paying gauges to add cards to his soul for power boosts and using "Soulguard" to remain on the field. His relationships evolve from self-doubt to profound loyalty, particularly with Gao, alongside a complex bond with his father. He eventually surpasses his father by evolving into Super Armordragon, Drum Breaker Dragon during a decisive battle.

Post-Omni Lordship, his standard form features updated turquoise and gold armor with cestus-style drills, though he retains his classic mini-form outside combat. His story concludes with a focus on clan leadership while occasionally rejoining Gao for events like the GGG Cup.
