Description
Chaba is an anthropomorphized cockroach girl from Kanto who moved to Hokkaido with Gokicha. They met on the train journey north, sparking a lasting friendship. Chaba's personality is notably tomboyish and confrontational, contrasting sharply with Gokicha's demeanor.

She openly prefers life in Kanto, where humans were overtly hostile and actively hunted cockroaches like her. Chaba thrived on the adrenaline rush of evading these human threats, finding it an exhilarating challenge. This thrill-seeking defines her character; she actively seeks dangerous encounters with humans instead of avoiding them.

Chaba readily admits she finds amusement in provoking or annoying humans. Her relocation to Hokkaido disappoints her due to the friendlier, less aggressive human population. She perceives the absence of being hunted or feared as a distinct lack of excitement compared to Kanto.

While navigating numerous life-threatening situations common to cockroaches in Hokkaido – like escaping crushing shoes, deadly insecticide sprays, and other human attempts to eliminate them – Chaba maintains her distinctive approach. She consistently prioritizes the thrill of confrontation over Gokicha's persistent desire for human friendship and acceptance.
