OVA
Description
Romary Stone emerges as a central figure in the second generation narrative. Initially a civilian student at Suzie Muscovy School on Colony Tordia, she shares a close childhood friendship with Asemu Asuno, frequently interacting with him and his Mobile Suit Club. During the Vagan assault on Tordia coinciding with Asemu's seventeenth birthday, she suffers a leg injury. Asemu rescues her, transporting her to safety while piloting the Gundam AGE-1 Normal, revealing his role as a Gundam pilot and strengthening their bond.

She later participates in the Mobile Suit Club alongside Asemu and Zeheart Galette, a transfer student secretly gathering intelligence for Vagan. Romary aids Zeheart's integration by providing a school tour and introducing him to the club. Her relationships with both deepen through shared experiences: a beach outing, winning a miniature mobile suit tournament, and performing in a school production of Peter Pan—where Asemu portrays Captain Hook and Zeheart plays Peter Pan, foreshadowing their future conflict. A significant bonding moment occurs when she asks Zeheart to teach her a Vagan lullaby during stargazing on the colony's exterior.

The Vagan attack during the graduation ceremony becomes a turning point. Attempting to retrieve club photographs amidst the battle, she finds them destroyed. Witnessing Zeheart emerge from the cockpit of the Zedas R confirms his Vagan allegiance, shattering their friendship. Following this trauma, Romary enlists in the Earth Federation Forces with Asemu, serving as a communications operator aboard the Diva. She states her motivation is to understand her unresolved feelings regarding Zeheart's betrayal and her own identity. During her service, she struggles with idealizing Asemu and Zeheart's past friendship. In one incident, she physically intervenes during Asemu and Zeheart's confrontation in Solon City (or an unspecified location in the OVA), preventing Asemu from firing.

After the defense of Nortrum, she confesses to Asemu that her enlistment stemmed from immature ideals and an inability to reconcile the conflict between her friends, acknowledging she forced expectations onto both men. She subsequently retires from military service, returning to Colony Tordia. Romary and Asemu marry in A.G. 145, with her surname changing to Asuno. Their son, Kio Asuno, is born in A.G. 151.

Thirteen years after Asemu's presumed death and his covert activities with the Bisidian pirates, Romary reunites with him during the conflict involving their son Kio. This reunion occurs when she travels to space coinciding with Kio's return from Vagan captivity, culminating in an emotional embrace. She later endures his departure to continue fighting as a pirate, expressing hope for his safe return.
