Akito Tanishita is a 14-year-old male student in Class 2-5 at Kamui Daimon Comprehensive Academy. He serves in the Jenock Third Platoon under Rikuya Tougou's command, primarily tasked with guarding the Parasite Key. Akito possesses a quick temper, especially when his captain Rikuya faces insults. His intense loyalty to Rikuya drives defensive reactions against any criticism of his leader, shaping his actions within the platoon. Akito first appears in Episode 1 during the introductions of Arata Sena and Hikaru Hoshihara. His temper flares in Episode 3 when Catherine comments that Rikuya often uses an "Escape Stance" while depending on teammates. In Episode 13, Akito sacrifices his LBX, the DC Aerial, to shield Rikuya's DC Offenser from Bandit's LBX during a mission. This act of loyalty causes the DC Aerial to become LOST due to the enemy unit's self-destruction. Consequently, Akito is expelled from the academy in Episode 14 and replaced within the platoon. Akito initially pilots the DC Aerial. This unit is destroyed during the Episode 13 mission to retrieve Bandit's LBX. Following this loss, he uses the Trooper LBX during Ranking Battles.
