Description
Kō Sawatari, born August 31, 2001, is the younger brother of Fū Sawatari. After their father's death, Kō rediscovered stored old photographs, rekindling Fū's interest in photography and influencing her decision to use their father's Rollei 35S camera. Kō possesses an effeminate appearance, often mistaken for a girl at first glance, with brown hair and brown eyes. Despite this, Norie Okazaki remains affectionately persistent towards him, creating comedic situations with her enthusiastic attention. Classmate Komachi Shinoda also harbors feelings for Kō, leading to a rivalry with Norie.
Cheerful and friendly, Kō interacts warmly with everyone. He frequently assists his mother and grandmother at the family-run Cafe Tamayura, serving customers. Kō handles Norie's intense attentions calmly, even when her behavior becomes overly persistent. He shares a close bond with Fū, accompanying her to events like Riho Shihomi's exhibition and actively joining her and her friends on outings and activities, often contributing lighthearted moments. Throughout the series, including films covering the family's final year in Takehara, Kō remains a supportive figure within the Sawatari household, his development reflecting themes of cherishing memories and moving forward.
