Description
Chihiro Miyoshi is a childhood friend and former middle school classmate of Fu Sawatari, attending the same school until Fu transferred just before final exams. Their friendship originates from Fu's time in Shioiri, where Chihiro affectionately nicknamed her "Fū-nyon." Emotionally sensitive and prone to tears, Chihiro strives to protect Fu from painful memories of her father's death, often becoming overwhelmed and crying during heartfelt exchanges. Despite this tendency, she demonstrates an earnest and caring nature, deeply invested in her friendships. Her creative hobbies include crafting stuffed animals and handmade gifts, exemplified by a personalized photo album and a distinctive cat-shaped camera case designed for Fu's father's Rollei 35S camera—later Fu's cherished possession.
During Fu's middle school years, Chihiro witnessed Fu rediscover photography. When Fu moved back to Takehara, Chihiro processed her mixed emotions by creating farewell gifts, including the camera case that held Fu's treasured "ticket with no destination" from photographer Riho Shihomi. This departure marked a pivotal moment for Chihiro, who consciously resolved to become "more aggressive" in her own life, taking her first step toward emotional resilience by suppressing tears during their goodbye.
Chihiro shares a forgotten early connection with Fu and other main characters, having unknowingly met them during a kindergarten trip to Shiomichi years prior.
