Description
Shiro Sutherland, also known as Shiro Shibakusa, originates from the rare extraterrestrial Wolfgar bloodline, explicitly stating he is not an Earthling. This heritage triggers a transformation into a wolf-like being during intense frustration or anger, causing loss of control. To prevent endangering others, he maintains emotional distance and prefers solitude, initially presenting as detached and self-reliant.

Separated from his mother in childhood, he received the Scan2Go car Wolver as her parting gift. His drive to become a renowned Scan2Go racer across the universe stems from the hope that widespread visibility will lead to a reunion with her. This quest underpins his early reluctance to form lasting bonds.

Shiro pilots a personal one-seat spaceship accompanied by his guide robot, Tsukikage. He first encounters Kaz Gordon and Team J.E.T. during an alien planet exhibition race, where Kaz recruits him as their fifth racer against Team Penguin. Despite initial resistance due to his solitary nature, Shiro agrees. Demonstrating exceptional racing skill in the final leg, he secures victory after exposing the opposing team's cheating.

Following this, his interactions with Team J.E.T. become recurring but inconsistent. He returns Kaz's car in Episode 8 and races directly against Kaz in Episode 12, resulting in a draw and a promise to win their next competition. His involvement intensifies across Episodes 14-20, culminating in his revelation about his non-Earthling origins to Kaz in Episode 20.

A significant turning point occurs in Episode 21 when he visibly transforms into his Wolfgar state during an encounter with antagonist Ryu Kaizel. This transformation, triggered by emotional stress, forces him to confront the inherent risks of his biology. Following this, he temporarily aligns with Ryu.

By Episode 33, "Wolver the Flash," Shiro's backstory is fully explored. Master Hipopo reveals the nature of his Wolfgar lineage to Team J.E.T., explaining Shiro's need for emotional control and solitude as protective measures. The team recognizes his underlying concern for others despite his reserved demeanor. This mutual understanding facilitates his eventual integration into Team J.E.T. as a permanent member during the series' final quarter, though he retains his characteristically cool and strategic approach.

Physically, Shiro is a teenage male with blonde hair reaching his ears, red eyes, and pale skin. He wears a white and lavender vest over a purple shirt, lavender pants, black gloves, and white boots with purple soles. He maintains a consistently serious expression and rarely smiles.

His personality combines intellectual strategizing with a reserved, kuudere demeanor. He meticulously plans race tactics and adheres to a logical, analytical approach. While his primary bond within the team is with Fiona Ryder, his loyalty extends to all members once he fully commits to Team J.E.T. His development arcs from an isolated loner driven by personal need to a dedicated teammate who manages his Wolfgar traits while valuing collective support.
