Description
Haruka Nogizaka attends Hakujou Academy, celebrated for her beauty, intellect, and exceptional piano talent, which earned her French admirers' nicknames "Nuit Étoile" and "Lumière du Clavier." Behind her elegant public persona, she harbors a deep passion for anime, manga, and otaku culture, a secret stemming from traumatic middle school ostracization and a forced transfer after exposure. This caused intense anxiety about her hobbies being discovered.

Her interest originated years earlier when, after fleeing home following a disagreement with her father, she received the first volume of "Innocent Smile" from Yuuto Ayase in a park. This ignited her fandom, though she remains unaware of her poor drawing skills as others avoid criticism. Yuuto accidentally uncovers her secret in the school library, surrounded by merchandise. Relieved by his promise of secrecy, she develops trust and romantic feelings for him.

Her evolution sees her grow from shyness to confidence in sharing her interests. Key moments include accompanying Yuuto to Akihabara for games and maid cafés, attending summer Comiket with disguised maids Hazuki Sakurazaka and Nanami Nanashiro securing doujinshi, and publicly claiming her Comiket catalog after a school spill despite past trauma. Family conflict arises when her strict father, Gentou, discovers her hobby, leading to confrontations where Yuuto defends her interests. Her mother, Akiho, consistently intervenes to support Haruka against paternal disapproval.

Her younger sister Mika actively encourages her relationship with Yuuto. Maids Hazuki and Nanami provide practical aid and emotional support. During the cultural festival, she helps Yuuto research cosplay for a class café, leading to jealousy and withdrawal after discovering him in a perceived intimate moment with transfer student Shiina Amamiya, followed by reconciliation.

In the finale, Shiina's confession to Yuuto during a school trip creates emotional tension, forcing Haruka to confront her insecurities and solidify her commitment to Yuuto, culminating in mutual confirmation of their bond. Her development centers on balancing societal expectations with personal authenticity, overcoming past trauma to embrace her otaku identity while maintaining her refined persona.
