Konome Kiritani is a third-year high school student who serves as the kendo club captain and holds the leadership position of student council vice president. She possesses exceptional swordsmanship, evidenced by her victory in a regional kendo tournament. Her physical capabilities reach peak human levels in attributes such as strength, speed, and durability, with swordsmanship being her noted specialty. She typically employs training equipment like bamboo swords, though her standard gear also includes a katana.

Academically, as student council vice president, she is widely admired within the school. Konome initiates a project to create an unofficial school yearbook containing explicit photographs contributed by female students. For this task, she recruits Tamao Tsukamu, a second-year kendo club member who admires her.
