Description
Yuki Misono, younger sister of Sanjou Maki, is thrust apart from her sibling following their parents’ divorce, remaining with their father while Maki stays with their mother. Retaining the family name, Yuki contrasts with Maki, who adopts their mother’s maiden name. Once inseparable, Yuki grapples with the emotional chasm created by their separation, ultimately leaving her father’s home to reconnect with Maki—only to be confronted by the overt intimacy between Maki and their neighbor, Seiichi Sakonji. This discovery leaves Yuki withdrawn and hesitant around Seiichi, uncertain how to reconcile her feelings.

Introverted and cautious, Yuki’s shy nature diverges from Maki’s extroverted vitality. Her domestic prowess offsets Maki’s athletic but impractical tendencies. Bonding with Seiichi through discussions about literature—mirroring his career as a writer—she gradually nurtures a quiet romantic attraction, which Maki encourages. Yuki’s initial reserve gives way to active engagement in a shared relationship, navigating mutual affection alongside her sister.

Her journey traces a path from quiet detachment to deliberate involvement. Pivotal moments—tentative vulnerability, embracing emotional intimacy, and navigating the trio’s entangled dynamic—underscore her evolution. The story delves into her internal tensions and gradual reconciliation of her desires, charting her adaptation to the complexities of a collective connection forged through vulnerability and mutual longing.
