Description
Hailing from South Korea, 16-year-old Shi Yoon serves as a main member of the idol unit PURETTY. She arrives in Japan through a Pretty Top agency study-abroad program alongside fellow members Hye-in, Jae-eun, Chae-kyoung, and So-min. Her Korean name is 시윤.

As PURETTY's eldest member, Shi Yoon naturally adopts a big-sister role. Her personality blends a kind, docile, and slow-paced demeanor with occasional spaced-out expressions, yet she harbors a contrasting intensity—when angered, she emits a terrifying aura capable of halting team quarrels mid-sentence, often while smiling. She maintains a generally positive outlook, punctuating moments with her signature "Yay!" catchphrase and double peace signs.

Physically, Shi Yoon stands 165 cm tall with dark green shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. Her signature accessories include a plain white headband and fingerless gloves. Her theme color, green, reflects her "Ethnic" brand style. Typical casual wear features a grey-and-white shirt with grey shorts and yellow-heeled boots, while performance outfits showcase specialized designs like the Dear Crown PURETTY line jacket and miniskirt.

Her story begins in Episode 4 upon befriending Karin Shijimi of Prizmmy. Shi Yoon helps Karin conquer performance anxiety by sharing her own fear of being outpaced by younger Prism Stars, advising a return to fundamental joys over pressure—enabling Karin’s successful Prism Jumps. Later, during PURETTY’s training camp, Shi Yoon displays visible sadness when identifying the group’s flaw but strives to remain positive. In Episode 27, she competes in the Symphonia Selection: Road to Symphonia tournament alongside Hye-in and Karin.

Shi Yoon shares a close bond with Karin, comforting her through leadership struggles, while acting as PURETTY’s observational peacemaker and emotional anchor. She is based on real-life singer Cho Shi-yoon of the South Korean group Puretty, with a background including participation in Produce 101 Season 1 and a prior KARA audition.
