Description
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on March 3, 1997, Mion Takamine is the daughter of Pietro Takamine (of Italian-Japanese heritage) and Anna Takamine. Her childhood was marked by loneliness due to her parents' frequent international business trips, leading her to train and socialize primarily with adults. This forged a reserved, stoic demeanor that concealed her emotions. By age 14, she rose as a popular Tokyo-based idol and model, initially dismissing Prism Shows until witnessing Aira Harune and Rizumu Amamiya’s Tiara Cup performance, reigniting her drive.

Mion began with arrogance and emotional detachment, deploying sharp critiques and manipulation to shield her vulnerability. Her first major interaction with Aira and Rizumu involved interrupting Aira’s Tiara Cup victory and challenging them to earn a duo partnership. Though she initially chose Aira, she relinquished the spot to preserve their existing bond, revealing early self-sacrifice. After MARs’ loss at the Summer Queen Cup, her emotional barriers crumbled—she wept openly and confessed powerlessness. This catalyzed her integration into the group, culminating in a sleepover where she shared her romantic interest in Jun Takigawa and donned playful pajamas, signaling newfound trust.

Three years later in *Dear My Future*, Mion (now 18–19) remains active in MARs. She supports Rizumu and Hibiki’s marriage, mentors new Prism Stars like Prizmmy in singing, and expands into acting with the lead role in "Magical Mion." Professional turmoil strikes when Aira commits MARs to the Symphonia Syndicate. Bound by contract to its leader, Asechi Kintaro, Mion competes in events that force rivals Love Mix and Prizmmy out of Pretty Top. After Puretty breaks the Syndicate’s control, Kintaro exposes Kyoko’s past judging scandals, shocking Mion and others who defended her. Mia Ageha’s future vision shows Mion as Pretty Top’s president, inspiring new Prism Stars with Wataru as her assistant, reflecting her leadership growth.

Mion’s personal evolution includes shifting her romantic focus from the older Jun Takigawa to Wataru of Callings, recognizing his steadfast support. Her friendship with Aira and Rizumu deepens from friction to fierce loyalty, prioritizing team unity during the Symphonia crisis. Despite her confident public image, she retains private fears of darkness, ghosts, and supernatural forces. Her catchphrase, "Mion, switch on!" embodies her dual identity—flawless and energetic in performances versus reserved yet increasingly genuine among trusted friends.
