Description
Selnia Iori Flameheart hails from an influential English noble family and attends Hakureiryō Academy as an upperclassman. She initially prioritizes academic achievement and upholding family prestige. Her appearance is marked by distinctive blonde hip-length hair styled in spiral drills, blue eyes, and stands 1.68 meters tall with measurements of 88-60-87. Akiharu Hino nicknames her "Drill" because of her hairstyle, a term she intensely dislikes; her hair physically rotates and emits drilling sounds when she becomes angry, reflecting her emotional state.

She displays classic tsundere traits: outwardly proud, haughty, and quick to condemn others, especially those she considers beneath her social standing like the commoner Akiharu. Her initial interactions with him involve frequent confrontations, often stemming from misunderstandings orchestrated by her rival, Tomomi Saikyō. This rivalry stems from their earlier friendship, which deteriorated into intense academic and social competition, partly due to Tomomi's manipulative tendencies. Despite her harsh exterior, Selnia occasionally shows concealed concern for Akiharu's well-being, typically followed by lectures or physical reprimands.

Her character arc centers on her evolving feelings for Akiharu. Though she initially denies any attraction, she gradually acknowledges her emotions, culminating in a kiss and overt rivalry with Tomomi for his affection. This shift includes moments of jealousy, such as when witnessing Akiharu and Tomomi together, and subtle acts of care that contrast her usual arrogance. Her pride complicates her ability to openly express these feelings, creating internal conflict.

Selnia's role involves recurring comedic misunderstandings, often positioning her as an accidental victim of Akiharu's mishaps—many instigated by Tomomi—which reinforce her view of him as a "pervert." Despite this, her persistence in engaging with him, whether to scold or "supervise" him, hints at her growing attachment. Key events, like participating in a love triangle and reacting to Akiharu's obliviousness, further reveal her emotional vulnerability beneath her aristocratic facade.
