Nozomu Ezomori, a first-year high school student introduced in the third volume of the original light novel series, presents as a teenage girl with short silver hair, blue eyes, and a childlike physique. Unbeknownst to others, she is a 200-year-old wolf spirit who reveals wolf ears and an upward-pointing tail when transforming. She consistently wears her school uniform—a beige suit, brown skirt, pinkish-red bow, black knee-high socks, and brown shoes—yet sleeps naked on the floor of her otherwise vacant, expensive penthouse apartment.

Her demeanor seems detached and emotionless, but she harbors genuine affection for protagonist Kouta Oyamada, positioning her as a rival to the fox spirit Chizuru Minamoto. Nozomu frequently taunts Chizuru with insults like "Horny Beast" and critiques her scent or physique, while paradoxically initiating sexual advances toward Kouta despite her reserved nature. Her less intense approach compared to Chizuru’s overt aggression occasionally makes Kouta prefer her company.

Nozomu shares her lineage with an older brother, Saku Ezomori, also a wolf spirit. Their bond fractures when Saku attacks Kouta, driving Nozomu to defy him and pursue independence. She displays naivety in daily life, such as knocking on doors instead of using doorbells, and exhibits a gluttonous appetite. Her abilities are confined to shapeshifting between human and wolf forms, with no additional powers noted.

Her character arc sees the rivalry with Chizuru evolve into a stable dynamic where both coexist as Kouta’s romantic partners. Later manga chapters depict her formally becoming his mistress through a consensual threesome arrangement, reflecting her acceptance of this role despite earlier conflicts.
