Description
Segal Crekessa, also called Cigal Kulkesa, leads the Shindeki Church, an organization opposed to the Bantorra Library. A self-centered, eccentric, and sociopathic figure, his driving ambition is to produce the most captivating life book upon his death, a goal he pursues through any means, regardless of risk or morality.
He commands a vast army of human bombs known as Meats, and employs skilled assassins and criminals who follow without question, such as Alme Noten, whom he found as a child. He views people, his Meats, and the library itself as existing solely for his amusement and personal objectives.
In a major plot to assassinate Hamyuts Meseta, the Acting Director of the Armed Librarians, he employed detailed planning and powerful artifacts. This involved using divination to predict a typhoon, poisoning his target with the lethal Dragon Pneumonia, and acquiring the Ever-Laughing Blade Schlamuffen, one of the eight divine weapons, renowned for its perfect defensive capabilities. Despite successfully wielding Schlamuffen, a blade that could automatically parry attacks and develop its own malevolent will, his assassination attempt failed.
The confrontation ended with Segal being disarmed and stabbed by Colio Tonies, a former Meat acting on prophetic instructions from a book. Segal was then killed by Hamyuts Meseta. His body turned into a book, which was extracted by an old man associated with the Church of the Drowned God. His scheme to spread Dragon Pneumonia and monopolize its antidote for profit was thwarted with his death.
