Description
Kikono holds the rank of chief scientist in the Frieza Force, having served under both Frieza and his father King Cold since the latter’s reign. Tasked with overseeing the development of vital military technologies—including scouters, starships, and combat armor deployed across the organization—he played a pivotal role during King Cold’s rule by accompanying the emperor and Frieza to Planet Vegeta to formalize Frieza’s succession as commander of the Cold Force.
Five years later, Kikono alerted Frieza to the latent danger posed by Saiyan warriors, specifically citing prophecies of a Super Saiyan or Super Saiyan God emerging among them. Though lacking empirical evidence, his warnings influenced Frieza’s genocidal purge of the Saiyan species. Despite advocating caution due to the plan’s potential to halve the Frieza Force’s military strength, Kikono’s concerns ultimately reinforced the tyrant’s decision.
Years afterward, he relayed intelligence on Bulma’s acquisition of Earth’s Dragon Balls and their subsequent theft by Frieza’s soldiers. While urging immediate retrieval, he deferred to Frieza’s strategy of avoiding Saiyan attention. During discussions on wishes, Kikono proposed immortality or invulnerability but was taken aback by Frieza’s demand for a five-centimeter height increase. He challenged the logic, suggesting Frieza utilize his secondary transformation’s greater stature, yet acquiesced when the tyrant insisted on altering his base form.
Following the Broly conflict, Kikono reported Cheelai and Lemo’s betrayal and their Dragon Ball-assisted rescue of the berserker. Despite this breach, he endorsed Frieza’s plan to exploit Broly’s power in future wars, recognizing the Saiyan’s potential as a controllable weapon.
Physically, Kikono’s diminutive frame features yellow skin, an oversized cranium, and twin antennae. His customized battle armor—green shoulder and abdominal plating over a black undersuit—is paired with a dark green lower-body robe, visually reinforcing his status as a high-ranking advisor within the Frieza Force hierarchy.
