Description
Alexandro Pecchino, an elderly Italian senator, bypassed the cryogenic sleep project’s eligibility criteria by leveraging his wealth and political clout, ensuring his inclusion among those preserved to outwait the Medusa virus. His ruthless prioritization of self-preservation over collective welfare defines his role within the survivor group, where his abrasive personality and refusal to cooperate breed resentment.

Infamous for his domineering cowardice, he dismisses collaborative strategies, stubbornly clinging to hopes of external rescue while undermining group cohesion. Tensions peak when he identifies Marco Owen’s criminal tattoos, igniting a volatile clash. Exploiting the chaos, he provokes Ron to assault Marco with a wrench—a ploy halted before fatal consequences, though Alexandro’s paranoia toward Marco lingers.

His self-centered worldview stems from unresolved trauma over his brother’s suicide, amplifying his survivalist instincts. These instincts falter during the survivors’ flight through submerged tunnels, where he meets a grisly end at the jaws of mutated eels. His demise, the group’s first fatality, elicits no mourning, highlighting his isolation.

In a fleeting afterlife encounter, he mocks Marco’s struggles with a sardonic jab—a hollow gesture suggesting a sliver of lingering agency. Alexandro’s arc concludes without growth or redemption, his legacy cemented as a cautionary emblem of unchecked selfishness and moral decay.
