Description
Charlotte E. Firobisher, the Emperor's illegitimate daughter, bears the "E" as proof of royal lineage. Her mother's dying wish for recognition drives her initial motivations. She arrives in Housman guarded by three warriors: Margot wields the Demon Sword Rhomphaia (Scarlet Light), Penelope commands the ballock knife Slayer, and Doris bears Claymore (Earth). Charlotte herself possesses Evadne, the Demon Sword of Black Flame, which transforms into human form.

Though initially projecting a spoiled, selfish facade, Charlotte's true nature is grounded and practical—adept at household chores and cooking despite her royal ties. Her primary goal in Housman is to steal the Demon Sword Aria and kidnap Luke Ainsworth, presenting them to the Emperor as proof of loyalty to claim legitimacy. This plot fails when Cecily Campbell intervenes.

Cecily takes Charlotte into her household, catalyzing profound growth. Charlotte gradually reveals genuine warmth, forging a bond with Cecily that transcends her manipulative aims. When the Empire brands her an impostor and demands execution or defection to an enemy nation, Charlotte—inspired by Cecily's ideals—renounces her royal status entirely. She defects alongside her three devoted bodyguards, rejecting imperial corruption for a path rooted in integrity.

Her journey shifts from seeking external validation to embracing internal worth and loyalty. The unwavering allegiance of Margot, Penelope, and Doris—who join her defection at great peril—underscores their mutual devotion, anchoring her new identity beyond bloodline.
