OVA
Description
Yell begins as an aluminum sports drink can that transforms into human form upon being consumed by Najimi Tenkuji. This accidental metamorphosis occurs when an intoxicated Najimi purchases and opens the can, initiating their first encounter through an unintended kiss.

Physically, Yell stands around 1.70 meters with silver hair, blue eyes, and a hair appendage resembling a tail. This tail-like feature twitches involuntarily when detecting movement, reflecting a motion-sensitive nature that often prompts distracted or playful feline-like responses.

Typically calm and collected, Yell demonstrates fierce loyalty and protectiveness toward Najimi. Perceived threats to Najimi trigger extreme reactions, including violent retaliation. A near-fatal attack on Kakeru Daichi occurs after he inadvertently upsets Najimi during a baseball outing, inflicting severe injuries through specialized combat abilities. Protective impulses also manifest as jealousy during close interactions between Najimi and Kakeru, such as attempts to sabotage their indoor water park date.

Combat revolves around "cool drink sorcery," notably the "isotonic sword" technique that generates energy blades capable of slicing organic matter. These abilities occasionally serve mundane purposes like household chores or food preparation.

Yell’s unwavering devotion to Najimi forms the core of their narrative purpose, rooted in gratitude for being "girlished" into human form. Interactions include repeatedly kissing Najimi and vehemently defending her reputation. Coexistence involves managing Najimi’s chaotic living space, alongside habits like caring for a pet turtle named "Kame," indicating an animal affinity.

A rivalry exists with Melon, a steel-can Akikan, stemming from inherent aluminum-steel faction conflicts within the "Akikan Elect" experiment. Despite this, they unite against major threats, combining powers against stronger adversaries.

Key developments include early loyalty established during confinement with Najimi and Kakeru in a school freezer, revealing Kakeru’s past rescue of Najimi from kidnapping. Later, temporary brainwashing by "the strongest Akikan" necessitates ally intervention. Regret follows the severe attack on Kakeru after Najimi’s emotional distress, highlighting motivation complexities tied to owner allegiance.
