Kado serves as a soldier in the Frieza Force, holding a rank equivalent to the Ginyu Force under Frieza's command. He is the younger twin brother of Abo, both members of an unspecified alien race. Kado survived Frieza's destruction on Namek due to being stationed on a different planet. His appearance features a large spherical red body, skinny arms, two horns, and prominent pointed ears. He wears standard Frieza Force battle armor and employs a violet scouter to gauge opponents' power levels. Personality-wise, Kado exhibits the characteristic cockiness of Frieza's soldiers, frequently underestimating foes based on initial scouter readings. Two years after Kid Buu's defeat, Kado and Abo attack the remote planet housing Vegeta's exiled younger brother, Tarble. Unable to defeat the twins, Tarble flees to Earth. Kado and Abo pursue him in Saiyan Attack Balls, crashing a banquet hosted by Mr. Satan. They confront Earth's defenders, initially dismissing Goten and Trunks due to their youth. During the battle, Kado demonstrates the ability to create duplicate clones to overwhelm opponents. When outmatched by the young Saiyans, Kado fuses with Abo using a technique that merges them into the singular, more powerful entity, Aka. As Aka, they unleash destructive energy techniques: the Wahaha Wave, a mouth-fired energy ball; the Super Wahaha Wave, scattering numerous energy balls; and the Full Power Wahaha Wave, a massive energy sphere. Following Aka's defeat by Goku, Kado and Abo abandon their hostility, joining the celebratory feast alongside their former enemies. Beyond this primary appearance, Kado appears in supplemental media: - In *Dragon Ball Heroes*, he debuts as a boss character before becoming playable in later missions. - *World Mission* depicts him assisting Frieza's son Kuriza during an alternate timeline confrontation involving Mecha Frieza and King Cold. - An alien resembling Kado appears briefly during the genocide of the Saiyans in *Jaco the Galactic Patrolman* and *Dragon Ball Super: Broly*, though no direct connection is confirmed. His name forms part of a pun on "avocado," referencing his fusion with Abo into "Abokado" (Aka). Kado remains among the few primary film antagonists not featured in mainstream video game adaptations outside *Heroes*.
