Description
Yoko, a 14-year-old living alone in a suburban Japanese apartment, has pale skin and bright green eyes sharply outlined in black eyeliner. Her medium-length hair bursts with spiked, bright orange locks streaked with aquamarine, bangs grazing her brow. A vivid orange star tattoo marks her left cheekbone.

At home, she wears a cropped white camisole emblazoned with a yellow star and light blue boyshorts, often barefoot. Outside, she pairs black compression shorts with a red hooded jacket, red low-rise sneakers, and white socks.

Yoko tends to her cat Yuki, juggling phone calls with friends, lazy afternoons in her bedroom, and lively games with neighborhood kids. When Yuki disappears, her search leads to interrogating neighbors and local boys, who hint at the cat’s possible entry into an abandoned "haunted house." Braving the derelict structure, Yoko encounters levitating objects and gravity-defying anomalies. She allies with the neighborhood children to investigate the surreal phenomena, their initial curiosity blossoming into exhilaration.

After agents abruptly seal the building, Yoko lingers on the fleeting enigma and the unexpected kinship forged during their exploration.
