Description
Boota begins as Simon's loyal pet Pigmole, providing crucial support in early battles against the Spiral King. He proves his loyalty by awakening Nia during a critical fight in Lordgenome's throne room and comforting Simon during moments of distress, including after Kamina's death. Boota demonstrates self-sacrifice by willingly offering part of his body to sustain Simon and Kamina during a prolonged fight, regenerating afterward.

Boota's latent Spiral Power emerges significantly during the Anti-Spiral conflict. He temporarily powers the Super Galaxy Dai-Gurren when Simon is exhausted. Assimilating Lordgenome's released Spiral Energy aboard the ship intensifies his power, triggering an evolutionary transformation into a humanoid form. This evolved state possesses heightened intelligence, visible Spiral Energy projection, and combat capabilities, enabling him to intercept an Anti-Spiral attack with a forcefield and engage directly.

Within the Multiverse Labyrinth, Boota's evolved form becomes vital to Team Dai-Gurren's resistance. His significantly amplified Spiral Power contributes to breaking the labyrinth's hold alongside the team. He participates in the final battle aboard the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, utilizing infinite Spiral Power granted collectively. After the Anti-Spiral's defeat, Boota reverts to his original Pigmole form. He remains Simon's companion during subsequent travels, appearing unchanged through both the seven-year and twenty-year advancements following the main conflict.

His abilities include Spiral Power generation for defense and evolution, rapid regeneration, and extrasensory perception allowing interaction with non-corporeal entities like the Anti-Spiral consciousness, alongside energy absorption. Following the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann's creation, Boota gains the capacity for bodily reformation as long as his consciousness persists.
