OVA
Description
Minato Nagase is the first-year high school student younger sister of second-year Jun'ichi Nagase. She excels at all household chores and takes great pride in this skill. Minato possesses unique abilities, including listening to the ground to detect animals and communicating with them.

Her biological relationship to Jun'ichi differs across official media. The original PC visual novel presents them as blood-related siblings. The PS2 version explicitly states they are not related, while the anime adaptation implies no blood relation through context and narrative. Minato harbors romantic feelings for Jun'ichi, sometimes joking about being his adopted sister before retracting the statement.

Regarding character resolution, the anime concludes with Jun'ichi confessing his love after realizing he cannot live without her, leading to their romantic union. Conversely, the manga depicts Jun'ichi rejecting her feelings and ultimately ending up with Yuuhi Katagiri. In the manga's resolution, Minato accepts their relationship, pledging to be as strict toward Yuuhi as she is toward Jun'ichi once Yuuhi becomes her sister-in-law.

Minato shares a close bond with Yuuhi Katagiri, who helps her with cooking and mutual protection against Jun'ichi's perceived harassment. Minato regards Yuuhi as an intelligent yet emotionally vulnerable "wonderful person." She also maintains friendships with Tsukasa Kiryū, Nagomi Shiraishi, Mitsuki Shiina, Mikoto Tachibana, and Karen Ayanokōji.

The non-canon OVA "Hardcore" features Minato in a beach episode set on a private island, focusing on fanservice and comedic scenarios involving sunscreen-induced heightened arousal among female characters. Her physical specifications (height 162 cm, measurements B83/W57/H84) are reiterated here.

Her background includes periods living independently with Jun'ichi during parental absence while their parents undertook unspecified overseas activities. References exist to jungle survival training with her parents, contrasting with Jun'ichi remaining in Japan during those times.

Minato appears in cameo roles in other Feng universe works, including "Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi" and its fandisc "AA," where she visits the setting of Yamabiko alongside her friend Yocchan. These appearances do not expand her narrative or development.

Unresolved elements persist regarding her origins, particularly the ambiguity surrounding her adoption claims and biological status outside the PC version. The anime concludes with a sequel hook involving Minato, Jun'ichi, and Yuuhi living together while Yuuhi's father asserts she will not abandon her pursuit of Jun'ichi.
