Description
Arrester Blanket is a Charger Girl (Jūden-chan) from the parallel world Life Core, employed by Neodym to monitor and alleviate human depression levels through electrical charging. She initially serves as Plug Cryostat's supervisor and professional rival, strictly adhering to protocol and clashing with Plug's unconventional methods of addressing depression's root causes over charging efficiency. Their rivalry frequently escalates into physical confrontations.

Her physical appearance contrasts with Plug's, notably possessing a more developed bust, which becomes a recurring point of Plug's teasing. Arrester occasionally displays emotional vulnerability, leading to instances of crying that Plug exploits as blackmail material. A significant development occurs during her first encounter with Sento Oumi, a human capable of perceiving Charger Girls. Sento strikes her with a baseball bat due to his short temper, accidentally awakening a masochistic fetish in Arrester for being struck by the bat, establishing a recurring comedic element. Despite developing romantic feelings for Sento, he remains oblivious to her affections.

Her professional approach evolves. Initially dismissive of Plug's methods, she gradually begins acknowledging their effectiveness after witnessing Plug's success with challenging cases. A turning point occurs when Plug sustains injuries while attempting to charge Kenta Kajiwara, a Z-rank human emitting dangerously high counter-current energy. This incident shifts Arrester's relationship with Plug from rivalry into a closer, more supportive friendship. She continues collaborating with Plug and Sento, participating in missions like a beach outing where they jointly assist a distressed writer by creatively utilizing a car's power source for charging.

Arrester maintains her serious demeanor throughout but demonstrates a capacity for teamwork and personal growth. Her interactions reveal a blend of professional dedication and underlying emotional complexity, particularly concerning her unreciprocated feelings for Sento and her evolving bond with Plug.
