Description
Saki Amase is a Shikabane Hime partnered with the Contracted Monk Rika Aragami within the Kougon Sect. Perpetually 10 years old both physically and mentally, she has blonde hair and light brown eyes. Her death resulted from severe burns sustained in a fireworks accident while playing with Rika, her only childhood friend. Rika preserved Saki's body by freezing it until after completing monastic training, enabling Saki's resurrection as a Shikabane Hime.

Saki possesses a mischievous and impulsive personality, often teasing Rika about romantic feelings toward colleagues. She displays a fondness for snacks, frequently consuming potato chips or juice, and holds a strong aversion to bell peppers and bitter medicine. Her specialty is identifying potato chip brands by taste. This behavior suggests her lingering regrets and obsessions may relate to unfulfilled childhood experiences, including simple pleasures like food.

In combat, she wields dual axes in the manga and a war hammer in the anime adaptation, demonstrating proficiency with both weapons. Her contract benefits from Rika's lineage as a member of the Ten Great Holy Families, granting her enhanced resilience against ordinary Shikabane compared to most Shikabane Hime.

Her core motivation is protecting Rika, stemming from their deep bond and her regret over dying young. This manifests as extreme protectiveness. A significant development occurs when Rika is dismembered by the Shikabane Lee Li Hong. To save Rika, Saki merges her existence with Rika's body, facilitating physical repair. After Lee Li Hong's defeat, Saki relinquishes control of the healed body to Rika, achieving peace as her primary regret is resolved. This act concludes her existence as a Shikabane Hime.
