Description
Baron von Wolff began as a 12th-century Germanic crusader commanding the Order of the Sacred Cross before his excommunication for practicing black magic. Leading his knights into Russia in 1242, they perpetrated massacres until their defeat and entombment beneath a frozen lake. With his dying breath, he vowed vengeance in seven centuries.

Resurrected in 1942 by Nazi SS Obergruppenführer Linz through rituals involving his recovered sword, the Baron allied with the Third Reich’s Ahnenerbe occult division. He deployed supernatural forces against Soviet troops, summoning an undead army of Teutonic Knights from the Gloomy Valley afterlife to strengthen Nazi campaigns.

A figure of ruthless pragmatism and fanatical vengeance, he prioritized personal ambition above all allegiances. Historical accounts detail his medieval forces wielding necromancy and dark arts—practices he continued post-resurrection. His Nazi alliance served as a transactional means to harness modern resources for his ancient vendetta against Russia.

His strategies fused medieval warfare with occult methods, employing spectral reconnaissance and breaching boundaries between life and death. Soviet intelligence linked him to supernatural assaults during Operation Barbarossa’s initial phase, prompting counteractions through their psychic operatives.

The Baron’s narrative concludes within this conflict, eternally cast as an immortal antagonist whose undiminished hatred transcended centuries.
