TV-Series
Description
Megius commands the Space Federation Police's Special Investigations Unit as its captain. He directly supervises officer Birdy Cephon Altera and her missions on Earth. Despite Birdy's reputation as a Cowboy Cop who routinely violates protocol, Megius extends leniency, acknowledging her value and choosing not to dismiss her for her recklessness.
After Birdy accidentally inflicts a fatal injury on Tsutomu Senkawa, Megius personally informs Tsutomu that his original body is undergoing restoration and will require significant time before independent life is possible again. During a terrorist bombing on Altaria, Megius tolerates civilian casualties to pursue a lead on the perpetrator, Kinzel Hower – a pragmatic, though controversial, choice that causes frustration for Birdy.
In operational command, Megius coordinates responses to major incidents. He mobilizes the Federation Police during the Ryunka crisis in Tokyo and later alerts Birdy to a prison break involving criminals connected to the Ryunka case. His command decisions consistently prioritize larger investigative objectives, sometimes placing them above immediate civilian safety.
