Goram, titled the Demon King (鬼王ゴラム, Kiō Goramu), reigns as a warlord over northern Kanto from his imposing fortress, Demon Cliff Castle (鬼巖城, Kiganjō). He masters the martial art Emei Fist (峨嵋拳, Gabi Ken). As a rival to Raoh in the post-apocalyptic wasteland, Goram commands his own army and territory. His physical presence is immense, towering over even the nearly seven-foot-tall Raoh during their clashes.

Goram's defining conflict erupts when Raoh's forces invade his domain. Confronting Raoh directly, Goram experiences profound dread upon recognizing the Hokuto Shinken technique, understanding its lethal threat. Despite his power and position, the battle ends decisively with Goram's defeat by Raoh's hand. Demon Cliff Castle and the remnants of his army are subsequently absorbed into Raoh's expanding forces, terminating Goram's rule as a warlord.
