Description
Yuma Nanami inhabits Planet Prisonert, a realm crushed under the tyrannical "Law of Paradise" dictated by Akogastle. This regime enforces a prison-like existence, outlawing all personal freedoms. Defying these restrictions, Yuma dreams of constructing a spacecraft to venture into the cosmos—a crime in her shackled world.

Prisonert’s seven suns dilute gravity, leaving its people physically frail and unprepared for space’s rigors. Undeterred, Yuma clings to her ambition. Her determination captures the notice of Tetsuro Hoshino and Maetel aboard the Galaxy Express 999, offering her first chance to voice her hopes beyond her planet’s confines.

Yuma’s defiance is complicated by her father, Professor Theo, who serves as Akogastle’s collaborator. The regime’s alliance with the Mechanical Empire accelerates plans to mechanize the population, endangering her bodily autonomy. On her sixteenth birthday, Yuma publicly denounces the "Law of Paradise," rejecting forced conformity. Her outcry pierces the silence, reaching Tetsuro in a pivotal moment that transforms her quiet endurance into outright rebellion.
