Description
Luka Bloom, son of a prominent Phage society figure, inherits a legacy defined by a virus granting power alongside persecution. Following his father's death, he steps into the role of deputy leader for the Neo Tokyo Phage forum, driven to uphold his father's duties. He holds deep respect for King, the aging Phage leader, and commits fully to King's vision of a society free from oppression for their kind.
His path collides with a government agent during a mission, leaving him critically wounded. Marked for death, he survives solely because the agent defies orders—an act deemed treasonous. This incident brands him a fugitive, hunted relentlessly by the authoritarian Central Government and distrusted factions within his own Phage society.
Injured and exposed, he finds unexpected protection and medical aid from the very agent who spared him, forging a precarious alliance. Together, they traverse the dystopian expanse of Neo Tokyo and beyond, evading constant pursuit. Their flight transforms into a confrontation, leading them back to Neo Tokyo to directly challenge the Central Government's oppressive regime.
During the final clash, Luka suffers a gunshot wound initially believed fatal. Subsequent medical intervention, however, confirms his survival with a full recovery expected. He ultimately finds sanctuary with allies on a private island, removed from the immediate conflict zone.
