Originating from a noble Asgardian family lineage, she holds the title of Princess of Prishintia. Her background includes rigorous training from a young age in swordsmanship, magic, and military tactics, resulting in exceptional combat prowess and strategic acumen.

Her personality exhibits traits of arrogance, stoicism, and bluntness, contributing to her unpopularity among fellow Valkyries despite her recognized strength and expertise. She maintains a solitary disposition, with Sigurd as her only close companion and fellow Valkyrie. Physically, she possesses waist-length white hair, green eyes, and typically wears distinctive emerald-green plate armor.

Following Loki's betrayal of Asgard and alliance with forces including the jotnar and Hel, Suvia participates in a failed mission to rescue the imprisoned Odin from the Land of the Dead. This failure leads to her capture alongside other Valkyries, who are subjected to imprisonment and sexual enslavement. Loki specifically targets Suvia both for the key she safeguards and due to his personal lustful interest in her.

During her captivity, she initially demonstrates resilience and defiance against captors including Loki, Hel, and jotnar leader Flungruni.
