Ginka Midarezaki is the eldest son of the Midarezaki family. Originally Ginichi Kizakura of the Kizakura yakuza clan, he fled that life after family members killed a girl he loved, an event that shaped his departure. Now 23 years old, he experiences gender identity disorder, often dressing in feminine clothing and using feminine speech. He works under the alias "Silver Fox" at Virgo, a local okama bar for cross-dressing clientele.

His history significantly intersects with Chika (formerly Senko Himemiya), Yūka's biological sister. He met Chika long before the family formed and made a promise to her, a promise that later motivated her to join the Midarezaki household. Chika harbors romantic feelings for him and actively tries to make him more "manly" through rigorous training sessions. Despite this pressure, he shows some acceptance of her methods, even developing a tolerance for pain. Their relationship evolves to include a date, though its long-term outcome remains undefined.

Within the family, he shows fierce protectiveness, especially towards Yūka. He comforts her when distressed by school bullying and intervenes during confrontations with her biological family. His past occasionally resurfaces, such as forming an unlikely drinking companionship with Dr. Gebok, a figure connected to Hyōka's troubled origins.
