Description
Yūka Midarezaki, originally Reiko Himemiya, belongs to the Himemiya lineage known as the "Demon's Family." Within this family, she endured systematic abuse via the "Solitary Doll" tradition, where the youngest or weakest member served as a target for physical and emotional torment to relieve familial stress. Her biological sister, Chika, participated actively in this abuse.

Adopted into the Midarezaki family through Operation Cozy Family, she became the nine-year-old eldest daughter, later noted as the second daughter following narrative developments. Despite her traumatic past, she exhibits a predominantly calm and gentle demeanor. She forms a strong attachment to her adoptive father, Ōka Midarezaki, frequently seeking validation about her appearance and expressing anxiety over potential abandonment. This manifests in behaviors like participating in extreme family schemes to prevent his departure, including dehydrating an alien admirer by consuming all household water.

Her daily life involves attending elementary school, where she befriends a classmate named Yamamoto. Their interactions include Yamamoto offering pudding to solicit academic assistance, implying Yūka's fondness for this dessert. She occasionally struggles with names, persistently misnaming Yamamoto despite corrections.

Within the family, she develops close bonds. She frequently rides or cuddles with Teika Midarezaki, a talking lion who addresses her respectfully and provides physical comfort. She displays resilience toward Kyōka Midarezaki's notoriously dangerous cooking, attributed to her history of enduring harsher adversities. Though not biologically related to the other children, she integrates into the familial structure, with her dependency on Ōka remaining a recurring aspect of her interactions.

Her character development includes gradual stabilization within her adoptive environment, showing gestures of normalcy such as inviting her friend home. No further canonical developments or transformative arcs are documented beyond this integration.
