Description
Albatro Mill Julia Asuka, the older sister of Eiji Asuka/Albatro Null, possesses mixed heritage as the daughter of human astronaut Ken Asuka and a Gradosian noblewoman. Raised within the Gradosian Empire, Julia became engaged to Gale, Eiji's Gradosian SPT pilot best friend, with their wedding imminent.
Julia initially embraced Gradosian society and its goals, rejecting her parents' pleas to help Earth resist the coming Gradosian invasion. Choosing loyalty to Gale and her adopted homeland, she departed her family home to live with him on Grados. This decision placed her in direct opposition to her brother Eiji, who stole the advanced SPT Layzner to warn Earth.
Gale's death during the Gradosian invasion profoundly changed Julia, reversing her stance from supporting Grados to actively opposing its military aggression against Earth. Her defiance escalated into direct resistance against Gradosian leadership.
When the ruthless Gradosian noble Ru Kain, appointed Supreme Commander of Earth, ordered Julia's execution for treason, he found himself unable to carry out the sentence. Drawn despite himself to her spiritual strength and inner resolve, Kain stayed his hand, complicating his command and challenging his convictions of Gradosian superiority and ruthless suppression. Julia's journey embodies the tensions between familial bonds, cultural identity, and ethical responsibility within the Earth-Grados conflict.
