TV Special
Description
Olga Katina Betrenko joins the ranks of pilots chosen by Dudley Burns to operate the Nothung Model Fafners. Initially observed with Shaoshao Chin and Vera del Gnoni following unsuccessful attempts to pilot their assigned units, she is subsequently selected for Operation Azure.
Assigned to the expeditionary force leaving Tatsumiyajima in *Exodus*, Olga participates in the Srinagar mission. Her group faces a serpentine Festum assault, resulting in damage to a transport craft during evacuation. Olga provides medical assistance to injured Human Army soldiers and civilians. During the arduous journey across hostile territory, she voices concerns about the slow convoy pace and potential security compromises after repeated camp attacks.
When Human Army forces attack allied units under ROE Alpha protocols, Olga attempts communication to stop the fighting. An attack during this confrontation inflicts severe injuries on her while she is in her cockpit. After receiving treatment, she boards a transport craft carrying mission reports back to Tatsumiyajima. En route, an Azazel-type Festum assaults the convoy. The craft's primary pilot is assimilated, but Olga continues flying despite heavy bleeding, transmitting critical data on Dhaka Base's attacks. Sui Kaburagi teleports her into his cockpit in a rescue attempt, but she succumbs to blood loss before reaching the island. Her body is recovered, and her death deeply affects fellow castaways from the Human Army who shared her background.
Olga appears posthumously among deceased individuals in a spiritual manifestation. No concrete information exists regarding her role or activities in *Behind the Line*.
