Jinta "Jintan" Yadomi served as the energetic, charismatic leader of the Super Peace Busters during childhood. His athleticism and confidence drew admiration, notably when outperforming peers in activities like catching stag beetles, with Poppo considering him "amazing" and "cool." Physically, he had shorter, messier black hair, yellowish-brown eyes, and wore a watermelon-pink shirt with a circular yellow emblem, dark blue long shorts, and red slippers. A central element of his youth was his relationship with Meiko "Menma" Honma. He harbored romantic feelings for her but denied them out of embarrassment when questioned by Naruko "Anaru" Anjou. In that moment, he impulsively called Menma "ugly" before fleeing; she chased after him, resulting in her fatal accident. This event became a defining trauma, compounded by his lifelong regret over never apologizing or confessing. His leadership extended beyond charisma, fostering inclusivity—such as welcoming Poppo despite social awkwardness—and maintaining complex bonds with all members. Atsumu "Yukiatsu" Matsuyuki viewed him as a rival due to his natural talents and Menma’s affection. Jinta was left-handed, observed when writing or using utensils. His name "Jinta" combines characters for "benevolence, compassion, humanity" and "thick, big," while "Yadomi" means "inn, lodging" and "sea, ocean." Menma’s death abruptly ended his childhood, dissolved the Super Peace Busters, and altered his life trajectory. Prior to this, he embodied a lively, protective figure whose potential was acknowledged by the entire group.
