Description
Hiyoko Tamaizumi navigates her third year of high school with a childlike appearance belying her age. To sustain herself financially, she waitresses part-time at Alexander bar while pursuing her primary career as a novelist—an occupation currently yielding unstable income despite initial modest book sales. Harsh criticism of her second publication eroded her confidence, yet she persists in writing under pseudonyms like Tama Izumi and Tamaki Hosokawa, clinging to hopes of future acclaim while reacting intensely to any feedback on her work.

Outwardly assertive yet deeply sensitive, Hiyoko wields a sharp tongue and projects fierce independence, habitually refusing help to avoid reliance on others. She meets perceived ulterior motives with cold suspicion, sparking early misunderstandings. Beneath this defensive shell lies genuine gratitude and care for close companions like Kinako Mochizuki, though her bond with blunt-spoken Eriko Hino remains tense. Only when truly overwhelmed does she grudgingly accept support.

Her father’s strict demands amplify her stress as she juggles writing ambitions with bartending. Privately, Hiyoko dreams of leaving her hometown to achieve singing stardom, though literature remains her priority. At Alexander, her first meeting with Shuusuke Chitose ignited friction when he confused her pseudonym with a former adult actress. Shared bar experiences gradually eased their dynamic, contrasting her consistent indifference toward Kakeru Ohtori.

Gray-eyed and gray-haired, Hiyoko stands 161 cm tall with measurements of 88-60-89. Born August 14 under the Leo sign, she typically dons a school uniform accented by a neckerchief, knee-high socks, a star-motif hairclip, and a distinctive ahoge.
