Description
Noise, also known as Pii-chan, originated as an immortal entity born from the collective sorrow of the universe, often called the "Crystallization of Sorrow" or the "power of darkness." His initial form was a fearsome black bird-like creature with a white face, red-streaked feathers, and sharp talons. He later adopted a smaller bird-like guise named Pii-chan to deceive others, featuring blue eyes, a white face, scruffy orange hair, and silver feathers after his rebirth.

Profound self-loathing, stemming from constant rejection over his monstrous voice and appearance, drove Noise to seek the erasure of all sound. His goal was a silent world, including his own annihilation. To achieve this, he orchestrated invasions of Major Land, sealing away the Crescendo Tone in the Forest of Magical Echoes before being defeated and imprisoned in stone by Otokichi. During confinement, he manipulated Mephisto into creating Minor Land and dispatched subordinates Falsetto, Bassdrum, and Baritone. Their mission was to collect sorrow energy using Negatone monsters, aiming to revive Noise and complete the "Melody of Sadness."

Partially revived as Pii-chan, he infiltrated the human world, gaining the trust of Ako Shirabe while secretly stealing musical Notes collected by the Pretty Cures. His disguise shattered when Cure Melody recognized his attempt to assassinate Otokichi. Fully resurrected upon the Melody of Sadness's completion, Noise petrified humans and Major Land's inhabitants. He achieved his "final form" by absorbing Falsetto, Bassdrum, and Baritone, gaining enhanced abilities like energy deflection, petrification via soundwaves, and destructive projectiles.

In his final battle, Noise revealed his quest for silence was born from unbearable loneliness and pain. Though he overwhelmed the Pretty Cures, their "Suite Session Ensemble Crescendo" attack purified him. He smiled at Cure Melody's declaration of protecting his happiness before vanishing. Noise later reincarnated permanently as Pii-chan, accepted as a friend by the Cures and living peacefully with Ako.

As Pii-chan in the sequel novel, he played a critical role by aiding Hibiki Hojo after she was possessed by Vanish—a remnant of Noise's dark legacy from Major Land's past. Pii-chan restored her ability to transform, enabling her to overcome Vanish's influence. Beyond the series, Noise appeared in *PreCure All Stars* films.
