TV-Series
Description
Baritone operates within the antagonistic Trio the Minor alongside Bassdrum and Falsetto, commanded by Mephisto. His initial presentation features long light-blue hair, blue eyes, and an elegant light-purple cape worn over a collared shirt, reflecting his self-conscious focus on beauty and appearance—including careful sun avoidance to prevent skin blemishes. He typically maintains a cool, composed demeanor while harboring unspoken leadership ambitions within the group, fueling a rivalry with Bassdrum.

Baritone undergoes notable physical transformations. Power enhancements via special earphones from Mephisto grant him heightened visual perception for locating musical Notes. Later, Falsetto forcibly transforms him into a monstrous state, altering his appearance to feature lizard-like whitish-blue skin, claws, a tail, and increased height, causing him visible distress due to his vanity. Following purification, he adopts refined attire: a ruffled white shirt, blue vest, pants, and a short cape secured with a brooch.

His history reveals Baritone was originally one of the Three Musketeers protecting Major Land before Noise, through Mephisto, brainwashed him. Temporarily freed from evil influence after touching a Cure Module, he nearly regains his true self but falls back under Noise's control. Mephisto later permanently removes the brainwashing, restoring Baritone's inherent kindness. This redemption culminates in a sacrificial act aiding the Pretty Cures against Noise, resulting in his absorption and petrification. He is ultimately resurrected when the Melody of Happiness restores him to his original role as a musketeer.

Baritone's relationships define key developments. His competitive dynamic with Bassdrum evolves into solidarity after both face demotion under Falsetto's tyrannical leadership. Despite opposing Falsetto's methods, Baritone retains loyalty, expressing genuine grief upon believing Falsetto perished. Post-redemption, he reconciles with former rivals and supports the Pretty Cures.
