Description
Asuha Tōhara, born Asuhariet Ygvar, is the ten-year-old daughter of human Naoya Tōhara and Queen Mercelída of Ygvarland, making her a hybrid of human and succubus heritage. She is the older half-sister of Princess Astarotte Ygvar, though they share the same chronological age due to the shorter gestation period of succubus pregnancies.

Raised in the human world by Naoya from age three after Mercelída entrusted her to his care, Asuha grew up believing her mother was deceased. This period involved living in poverty but fostered a strong emotional bond with her father. Her succubus traits remained latent until later childhood, when exposure to the Dvergur Miraculous Spring stimulated their growth, including the development of wings, though she shows no tail.

Physically resembling her father, Asuha has dark blue eyes and long blue hair, standing 137 cm tall. Her personality is energetic, outspoken, and friendly, though she often acts impulsively. An inherited succubus trait causes an aversion to wearing underwear, leading to recurring tension with Naoya. Despite not being a full succubus, her uninhibited behavior contrasts with Astarotte's reserved nature.

Central to her development are her familial relationships. She shares a deeply affectionate bond with Naoya, who views her as his reason for living after his own early parental loss. Initially unaware of their biological connection, Asuha forms a close, sisterly friendship with Astarotte, becoming her first friend. The revelation of their kinship differs across media: in the manga, Asuha learns Mercelída is her mother and Astarotte her sister after her wings manifest, leading to temporary estrangement when Astarotte discovers the secrecy. In the anime, Asuha is aware of her heritage early but keeps it confidential at the request of Naoya and Judit.

Her relationships extend to others in Ygvarland. She nicknames Ingrid Sorvieg "Ini" and shares a positive dynamic with her. Attending the royal academy, she quickly befriends peers like Mist, Unna, and Lucca. As the first of Mercelída's daughters to grow wings, she bridges her dual heritage. Her journey involves navigating secrecy, familial acceptance, and self-understanding as she reconciles her human upbringing with her succubus identity across all official narratives.
