Buzz, a bulldog and loyal companion to Captain Schneider of the Schneider Pirates, sports orange fur, a stout body, slim legs, and a perpetually sad expression accentuated by a scar above his right eye, a blue nose, exceptionally long ears and tongue, and elaborate goggles worn like a collar around his neck. His unwavering loyalty led him to defy Schneider’s orders to disband when the captain believed he was dying from coughing blood. To force Buzz away, Schneider tasked him with stealing Monkey D. Luffy’s prized straw hat—a mission Buzz accomplished by infiltrating the Thousand Sunny at night using his Devil Fruit powers, igniting a chase across treacherous landscapes.

Buzz consumed the Zoan-type Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Eagle Devil Fruit, enabling transformation into a full eagle for flight or a hybrid bulldog-eagle form. This fruit sharpened his animal senses and reflexes with eagle-like acuity and allowed him to dramatically increase his size during confrontations, evolving from a standard eagle to a vastly larger form. These abilities let him navigate hazards like Marine fleets and Sea Kings during the pursuit.

His devotion to Schneider’s command sparked battles with Luffy across volcanic terrain and a Marine shipyard, culminating in both being trapped in a seastone cage until Schneider intervened. Buzz later aided Luffy in reclaiming the hat from the Marines. Schneider’s illness was revealed to stem from a swallowed fork piercing his stomach—non-fatal once treated—allowing the pair to reconcile and resume their voyage. Buzz also appears briefly alongside Schneider at the Pirates Festival in "One Piece: Stampede," without further development.
