Description
Homare Kanakubo is a third-year student at Seigetsu Academy, serving as the captain of the Archery Club and pursuing studies in astrology. Born on May 14, he is a Taurus with blood type O. He stands 185 cm tall with a slim build, weighing 64 kg, and has short light blue hair swept to the side and yellowish-brown eyes. His disciplined nature is reflected in his immaculate school uniform, always fully buttoned with a neatly tucked tie. Outside school, he wears traditional kimono for tea ceremonies due to his family's background, and his casual attire consists of crisp jackets and shirts, often in combinations like greenish-brown with lilac or blue with cream.

His family operates a tea ceremony school, and as the eldest son, Homare was trained in tea-making from a young age. He has an older sister named Amane and twin younger sisters, Shirabe and Kanade, and shares a close bond with them. This dynamic fosters his protective and caring demeanor, often casting him in a fatherly or older brother role. His parents are Souan and Ayako Kanakubo.

Homare presents as friendly, gentle, and mature, though he occasionally reveals a more childish side. He applies his astrology skills to offer personality readings based on zodiac signs. As archery captain, he dedicates himself to the club's success and mediates disputes, particularly between members Ryunosuke Miyaji and Azusa Kinose. However, he struggles with performance anxiety and stress-induced stomach aches, especially under pressure. This anxiety once cost the team a championship, though he overcame it with support from Tsukiko Yahisa.

In his relationship with Tsukiko Yahisa, Homare is openly affectionate, frequently sneaking kisses and openly acknowledging their partnership. He enjoys ruffling her hair and corrects anyone who mistakes them for merely friends. His story touches on moments of jealousy, such as when fangirls surround him during school festivals, and highlights his supportive nature as he encourages Tsukiko to avoid overexertion. They remain together after graduation, eventually marrying, and he pursues a career in astronomy while maintaining a supportive and loving relationship.

Homare initially struggled with shyness and nervousness around others but overcame these challenges through school activities and friendships. He has been close friends since his early school days with Kazuki Shiranui, the student council president, and Oushirou Shirogane, a school reporter. These relationships helped him develop confidence and leadership abilities.
