Description
Alexis Doucet, son of the late archduke of the Fantasia Union, was politically engaged to Marrine Kreische, heir to the rival Factory Alliance. Their union aimed to forge the Great Seal and unify both factions for enduring peace. This design shattered during the wedding ceremony when an eruption of Chaos killed both archdukes—an incident remembered as the Great Hall Tragedy.

Despite escalating hostilities between their factions, Alexis maintained unwavering devotion to Marrine and sought to honor their original marriage pact. Political strife initially obstructed reconciliation or peaceful dialogue. He continued leading the Fantasia Union throughout ensuing conflicts.

Diplomatic intervention by Theo Cornaro and the Altirk Treaty faction eventually reconnected Alexis and Marrine. Their renewed engagement became the cornerstone for merging the warring Factory Alliance and Fantasia Union. This consolidation enabled Theo Cornaro’s rise as the inaugural Emperor.

Three years post-unification, Alexis wed Marrine in a double ceremony alongside Theo and Siluca Meletes. Marrine later bore twins. After Theo voluntarily relinquished the throne, Alexis succeeded him as the Second Emperor. Marrine assumed the role of chancellor in his administration, securing the realm’s stability following the Grancrest War.
