Description
Arado Balanga emerged from "The School," a clandestine Earth Federation Army facility that trained child soldiers as elite Personal Trooper pilots. Designated Bronzo 28, he trained alongside Bronzo 27 (later named Seolla Schweitzer) under brutal conditions involving lethal experiments and conditioning, which claimed many lives. He and Seolla survived alongside few others, including Aurum 1 and Latune 11. Following The School's shutdown, Águila Setme and her assistant Cuervo Cero took them in, integrating them into the Divine Crusaders. Cuervo Cero bestowed the name "Arado Balanga" upon Bronzo 28 and "Seolla Schweitzer" upon Bronzo 27.

Arado displays a cheerful, irreverent personality, frequently disregarding military decorum and clashing with superiors. His boisterous dynamic with Seolla involves constant teasing about her physique or undergarments, invariably provoking her physical retaliation. Despite this, their bond runs deep, forged by a mutual promise to protect each other and survive. He possesses an unusually high metabolism, capable of consuming three full-course meals in one sitting, and exhibits remarkable resilience to toxins, such as tolerating Kusuha Mizuha's notoriously potent health drinks.

As a pilot, Arado's skills remain underdeveloped for a School graduate. His training focused on paired combat, leaving him ineffective alone. He relies heavily on Seolla's support in battle, often acting recklessly or carelessly, leading to frequent defeats. Yet, he demonstrates sporadic bursts of exceptional prowess during critical moments, usually to shield Seolla from harm. His tenacity is evident in surviving multiple near-fatal incidents, including taking a rocket punch meant for Seolla and enduring severe injuries when his mech was destroyed by vulcan fire.

His story unfolds primarily through conflicts with the Neo Divine Crusaders (Neue DC). Deployed alongside Seolla under commanders like Archibald Grimms, Arado participated in missions such as stealing the Wild Falken prototype from Hawaii. During this operation, he discovered the pilot was Latune 11, their presumed-dead friend from The School, now allied with the Earth Federation. After being shot down and captured by Earth Federation forces, Arado was taken aboard the Hagane. Initially distrustful and attempting escape, he gradually aligned with the crew after witnessing Neo DC atrocities. During a psychiatric evaluation at Mao Industries' lunar facility, he defended the base against Inspector invaders using a makeshift hammer weapon, sustaining injuries during the defense.

Arado's primary motivation became rescuing Seolla after the Neo DC brainwashed her into believing he betrayed their cause. Despite repeated failures to break her conditioning during confrontations, he persisted. His dedication culminated in receiving the Wild Wurger, a counterpart to Seolla's Wild Falken. This mech featured the Stag Beetle Crusher, a close-combat armament tailored to his strengths and augmented with combat data from elite melee pilots.

Throughout his journey, Arado formed alliances with figures like Latune and Shine Hausen, aiding the latter in liberating her dukedom from Neo DC occupation. His background as a survivor of The School's trauma and his evolution from a reckless soldier to a determined protector define his character arc across media, including games like *Super Robot Wars Alpha 2*, *Original Generation 2*, and the anime *OG: The Inspector*, where his story is adapted with minor plot alterations but retains his core motivations.
