Description
Yuki Yoshida operates under multiple aliases: Maelstrom, Mael, Tomonori (a name from Orito), and Yukinori (used by Haruna). A vampire ninja opposing Seraphim's clan, she attends the same high school as Ayumu Aikawa. Physically, she is relatively short with blonde hair partially tied up on the right side using a ribbon; an E-cup bust was accidentally revealed during an interaction.

Initially abrasive and confrontational, using the masculine pronoun "ore," her personality shifts significantly after an accidental kiss with Ayumu, triggered when Haruna shoves him into her. This event invokes a vampire-ninja law considering them married. Yuki embraces this bond, fearing future loneliness, and becomes more attentive and gentle toward Ayumu, developing genuine romantic feelings over time.

She actively pursues the relationship, seeking romantic advice from friends Kanami Mihara and Taeko Hiramatsu. Her efforts include repeatedly attempting to cook homemade lunches for Ayumu, often ruined by excessive sauces, and inviting him to an indoor swimming pool as a honeymoon opportunity.

Later selected as a backup dancer for Sarasvati, she inadvertently performs a curse dance (termed a "voodoo dance" by Haruna) that induces suffocation. Despite interventions, subsequent performances yield similar effects.

A giant flame spirit named Mysticore resides within her. Loss of control leads Mysticore to possess her consciousness, triggering destructive rampages. Ayumu later provides a ring to suppress the spirit, which she interprets as a wedding ring.

In the light novel's conclusion, after Ayumu reverts to humanity and becomes a salaryman, subtle hints suggest Yuki secretly meets him, navigating their relationship.

Her abilities include unconventional methods like dispelling Megalo enemies by dousing them in tonkotsu ramen soup (aided by a specialized machine later destroyed), performing curse dances that force involuntary dancing and suffocation, and hosting the volatile spirit Mysticore.

Key relationships define her character: she considers Taeko Hiramatsu a best friend but also a potential romantic rival due to Taeko's interactions with Ayumu. Kanami Mihara, another close friend, advises her on romance without being seen as competition. Her dynamic with Haruna blends rivalry and cooperation, exemplified during joint dance mishaps.
