Keisuke Hara is a 17-year-old Japanese high school student with dark brown hair, green eyes, and a May 15th birthday. After a painful breakup where his ex-girlfriend demanded no contact, a despondent Keisuke crashed his motorcycle into two men. One man carried a firearm, and during the collision, Keisuke’s telephone card was inadvertently swapped with a card belonging to a man named Gray. Unaware of the switch, Keisuke later consumed edible alcoholic capsules mistakenly left by Gray, becoming intoxicated.

In his drunken state, Keisuke ignored his ex-girlfriend’s instructions and attempted to page her using Gray’s card. This card secretly functioned as a weaponized satellite activation key. Inputting a numeric code while composing his message triggered a 24-hour countdown for the satellite to destroy Earth. His intoxication erased any memory of the specific code he entered.

Faced with impending catastrophe, Gray located Keisuke and explained the situation. Gray then spent the remaining time fulfilling Keisuke’s requests to jog his memory. This included arranging a meeting with Keisuke’s favorite pop idol, Asuka Anzai. During their time together, Keisuke and Asuka bonded effortlessly, letting Asuka briefly experience ordinary teenage life. Keisuke also requested Gray transform Tokyo into a Christmas setting using military resources, prompting Asuka to liken Keisuke to Santa Claus. With only 30 minutes left on the countdown, Gray intervened. Spurred by his experiences with Asuka, Keisuke recalled the passcode and deactivated the satellite moments before it reached zero. Some time after the crisis, Asuka provided Keisuke with a new telephone card, which he used to call her.
