Description
Canon Evans, known as Endou Kanon in Japanese media, is Endou Mamoru's great-grandson from 80 years in the future. He possesses a striking resemblance to his ancestor in both appearance and personality, sharing his passionate enthusiasm for soccer. His attire includes a red headband, teal hair and eyes, a red-white-and-blue jacket fastened with a single top button over a black t-shirt, and teal three-quarter-length trousers, along with a distinctive white-and-blue earpiece worn on his left ear. He frequently uses the phrase "Let's play soccer!" (Sakka yarou ze!), embodying Endou's unwavering optimism, sportsmanship, kindness, perseverance, and strong sense of justice.
Driven by concern for soccer's legacy and the safety of his great-grandfather, he proactively chose to travel back in time after Killard, a scientist, detected temporal interference centered on Endou Mamoru's era. Despite warnings about potential governmental repercussions, he insisted on intervening. In the past, he assisted the Raimon team against Team Ogre, recruiting Endou's future allies—Fidio, Hiroto, Fubuki, Tobitaka, and Toramaru—to bolster their strength. He strongly opposed Team Ogre's violent playing style. During the climactic match, he scored a crucial goal by executing the hissatsu technique "God Cannon," breaking through Ogre's "Electrap" defense. He later combined "God Cannon" with Fidio's "Odin Sword" in a chain shoot, though it was blocked by Ogre's "High Voltage." Following Raimon's victory, he expressed gratitude to Endou before returning to his original timeline. Killard reluctantly supported his mission, acknowledging both his stubbornness and genuine desire to connect with his family's legacy.
