Driven by concern for soccer's legacy and the safety of his great-grandfather, he proactively chose to travel back in time after Killard, a scientist, detected temporal interference centered on Endou Mamoru's era. Despite warnings about potential governmental repercussions, he insisted on intervening. In the past, he assisted the Raimon team against Team Ogre, recruiting Endou's future allies—Fidio, Hiroto, Fubuki, Tobitaka, and Toramaru—to bolster their strength. He strongly opposed Team Ogre's violent playing style. During the climactic match, he scored a crucial goal by executing the hissatsu technique "God Cannon," breaking through Ogre's "Electrap" defense. He later combined "God Cannon" with Fidio's "Odin Sword" in a chain shoot, though it was blocked by Ogre's "High Voltage."
