Description
Grick Graycrack is a Borgle, a green-skinned goblin-like race with fangs and horns. Hailing from the Borgle settlement of Graycrack, he adopted the village name as his surname per Borgle communal child-rearing traditions. His elongated ears feature two gold studded earrings, and he typically wears a black T-shirt, brown jacket, white pants, black boots, and goggles.

As a young salvager for the Orlandry Merchants Guild, Grick joined surface excavation missions, developing expertise in Beast behavioral patterns and survival tactics. During one mission alongside Nygglatho Astartus, he stumbled upon Willem Kmetsch petrified beneath ice. Grick financed Willem's medical treatment, incurring a debt Willem later repaid. He helped Willem integrate into society, becoming his guide and closest friend. Roughly a year after Willem's revival, Nygglatho enlisted Grick to recruit Willem as a caretaker for the Fairy Warehouse. Meeting in Grimbjhal, Grick conveyed the deaths of mutual acquaintances Anala and Gurgula before persuading a reluctant Willem to accept the position, urging him to seek happiness rather than dwell on the past. Grick subsequently secured Willem's military appointment as a Second Grade Enchantments Officer and arranged his transport to Sky Island 68.

During a later debt collection meeting, Willem revealed the Fairy Warehouse's "weapons" were living Leprechaun girls. This disclosure provoked intense distress in Grick, who expressed outrage at the military's exploitation of children. He voiced a desire to protect the girls while recognizing his inability to intervene directly.

Following the Battle for Corna di Luce, Grick rejoined the Guardian Wings Military as a Second Grade Technical Officer after repeated petitions. He led extended surface missions aboard the *Saxifraga* with Nopht Caro Oracion. Upon returning, he was assigned to supervise Tiat Siba Ignareo on Sky Island 11. After entrusting Tiat and Nopht with autonomous operations, he collaborated with Nygglatho and Margomedari Brompton to investigate the Night of Mornēn incident. Learning the truth about the Dug Weapon Mornēn from Margomedari, Grick assisted in its permanent neutralization. Partnering with Marguerite Medicis, he successfully recovered the weapon despite its activation.

Grick demonstrates a pragmatic yet compassionate disposition, offering advice when perceiving danger to others. His lack of prejudice against Disfeatured or other races is evident in his friendships. Salvage experience granted him acute survival instincts and mechanical proficiency in airship maintenance. Though occasionally perceived as cocky or pushy, he exhibits consistent loyalty, particularly toward Willem and the Leprechauns.
