Description
Kidou Yuuto, known as Jude Sharp in certain regions, stands as a central figure in the Inazuma Eleven series. Orphaned young alongside his younger sister Haruna Otonashi after their parents perished in a plane crash, he grew up in an orphanage where he often shielded her from bullies. An old soccer magazine left by his father became his sole connection to his past, inspiring him to play the sport as it made him feel closer to his lost parent.

He and Haruna were separated when adopted into different families—she by the Otonashi family, and he by the Kidou Financial Group after his soccer talent caught the eye of Kageyama Reiji at age six. To reunite with his sister, Kidou struck a deal with his adoptive father: win three consecutive national Football Frontier championships during junior high, or forfeit any chance to bring Haruna back. Losing even a single district match could mean expulsion from the family. This pact led him to avoid contact with Haruna for years, causing her to believe she was a burden, though his true intent was to protect her and secure their future together.

Initially depicted as shady and haughty, Kidou displayed unwavering obedience to Kageyama. He served as captain and strategic mastermind of Teikoku Gakuen’s soccer team, earning the title "Genius Game Maker" for his tactical brilliance. He wore goggles gifted by Kageyama to sharpen his focus on the ball, and a red cape as part of his uniform. After witnessing Kageyama’s unethical behavior, he rebelled, left Teikoku, and transferred to Raimon Junior High. There, his cape turned blue, and he revealed a more logical and caring nature, deeply valuing his teammates and devising strategies to defeat rivals.

His growth continued with Inazuma Japan in the Football Frontier International arc, where he switched his cape back to red. He wrestled with the fear that he remained under Kageyama’s influence but eventually broke free from this mental constraint. His tactical expertise stayed sharp, and he forged strong bonds with teammates, contributing to many victories through strategic commands and powerful hissatsu techniques.

A decade later in Inazuma Eleven GO, Kidou appeared as a mature and calmer figure. He first commanded Teikoku Gakuen, then became trainer and temporary coach for Raimon. His coaching style was stern yet effective, aimed at unlocking each player’s potential through tailored regimens. He demonstrated strategic thinking and realism, balancing Endou Mamoru’s idealism, though both shared a firm belief in soccer and their players’ capabilities.

In Inazuma Eleven GO Chrono Stone, he coached El Dorado Team 01, and in Inazuma Eleven GO VS Danball Senki W, he played midfielder for Inazuma Legend Japan. In the alternate timeline of Inazuma Eleven Ares no Tenbin, he served as midfielder and reinforcement committee member for Seishou Gakuen. In Inazuma Eleven Orion no Kokuin, he played midfielder for Inazuma Japan and later for Zhao Jinyuns, displaying adaptability and enduring skill across various teams and timelines.

His hissatsu techniques evolved throughout the series, including Twin Boost, Illusion Ball, Emperor Penguin variants, Death Zone, Inazuma Break, The Earth, Killer Fields, Big Bang, and Prime Legend. These moves often involved collaborations, underscoring his role as a team player and strategic leader.

Kidou’s appearance featured braided light brown hair, red eyes, and signature goggles—not worn in childhood until given by Kageyama. His casual attire included a red jacket, black shirt, blue jeans, and combat boots. As an adult, his hair grew longer and partially tied, and he wore large green-lens sunglasses gifted by his sister, a gray coat, gray pants, a red tie, and burgundy shoes. In GO Galaxy, he wore a black coat with a blue tie.

His relationships were pivotal, especially with his sister Haruna, for whom he cared deeply. He also guided teammates like Haizaki, helping him grow as a striker despite early challenges. Bonds with Endou and others from Raimon and Inazuma Japan highlighted his evolution from a solitary tactician to a devoted team member and mentor.
