Accepting assignment from the Galactic Council to monitor Stitch on Earth, he takes up residence with Yuna Kamihara and her grandmother on Izayoi Island. His background includes graduating from Evil Genius University and a former partnership with Dr. Jacques von Hämsterviel; this collaboration ended in betrayal, leading to their mutual arrest for illegal experimentation.

Within this series, Jumba exhibits a significantly friendlier disposition and reduced inclination toward malicious activities compared to earlier portrayals. He integrates into Yuna's household, frequently assisting Stitch in performing good deeds. Utilizing his scientific expertise, Jumba invents devices like the Good Deed Counter to track Stitch's progress toward earning a wish from the Chitama Spiritual Stone. He continues developing gadgets and studying Earth's technology.

Physically, Jumba is a large, heavyset alien with purple and pink skin, four eyes, and three short hairs atop his head. On Earth, he typically sports a yellow or light blue Hawaiian shirt, blue shorts, and gray boots. His abilities encompass above-average strength and durability, demonstrated by surviving high-impact confrontations. His primary asset remains his exceptional intellect, enabling him to create complex inventions even with limited resources.

Jumba teams up closely and non-antagonistically with Pleakley as part of Yuna's extended family. He displays paternal concern for Stitch, actively supporting the experiment's adaptation to Earth and moral development. While his earlier villainous traits are downplayed, he occasionally references his "evil genius" identity, though his actions typically manifest as harmless mischief rather than genuine malice.
